Dear families,
Our year is winding down. The children have done very well in Second Grade. It is important that they continue to read and review the math skills that were taught this year and review math facts over the summer.
There is No School Monday! On Thursday, the children will leave the iPads at school. The iPads will be collected on Friday.
Our Second Grade Picnic is on Friday, June 2nd at Central Park. All families are welcome to join us. We need a few parents to walk with us. I will be contacting a couple of you early next week about walking with us. If I don’t email you, then you can just meet us at the park! The children will need to bring a disposable lunch, wear comfortable clothes and sunscreen. You may want to send extra water, since it will probably be very warm. A reminder note will go home next week.
Also, Foster Field Day is set for Monday, June 5th, rain or shine. Thank you to those who have signed up to help that day. A note went home with a time and place for you to help.
